The drop rate for Master lost sectors is I believe 30%.There are 9 exotic hunter chest pieces. If you run 30 master lost sectors that would give you about 9 expected exotics at 30% drop rate. The odds of NOT getting a Gyrfalcon drop on any given run is 8/9 (assuming you already have all the chest pieces) . The odds of not getting one on 9 drops ...Master lost sectors should drop mats or something but legend lost sectors are probably fine. A few of them like veles or aphelion can be done in like 2 mins. But on legend it can take easily 10-20 clears to get a drop. I got exotics nearly every drop on 1250 yesterday. I’ve done nearly 20 on my Titan at 1280 today nothing. I dunno why tf nobody talks about this. It's clearly bugged. If it takes you 3 minutes to do legend and 8 to do master then master is not worth it. If it takes 4 minutes to do legend and 4:20 to do master then master is better. Master lost sectors do have a higher drop rate, but because legend can be run much faster it works out to be faster to farm legend instead of master.Drops in lost sector appear to prioritize exotics you haven't picked up yet. Once all are obtained, it is random. I'd put drop rate at about 1 exotic per 4 to 6 runs on average from running a bunch if legendary difficulty last night.
