May 21, 2021 · The FCR is a carb built to be fast and reliable, for all kinds of bike, but you have to re-jet. This has been made fairly easy on the FCR, so with some practice it should be an easy job. The DRZ E came with this carb, so the engine does well with it. Jul 6, 2016 · I would choose a 36mm power jet Lectron for your DRZ400. The Lectron 4 stroke carb is a High Performance carburetor, we are totally jet-less so we use one metering rod to control entire fuel circuit. That being said our the 4 stroke Lectron carb does run richer and a bit higher RPM at idle. THE LAB. The Lectron 38HV uses an adjustable metering rod instead of needles and jets. You should not need to remove the float bowl on an FCR carb to remove the fuel screw. It must be hung on the spring or it got turned in too tight at some point and the o-ring is mashed and that may be gripping it. Be careful as there is a spring, a tiny o-ring and a tiny flat washer that are part of the assembly.

The float is just stuck and needs a tap (you tried that and it didn't work). The rubber tip on the needle is bad. There is dirt between the needle and the seat.Lectron Carb, off of my DRZ 400E.
