This is what the owners manual says to check, possible cause when warning buzzer sounds. 1.cooling system cloged. 2.engine oil level low. 3.heat range of spark plug incorrect. 4.specified engine oil not used. 5.engine oil contaminated. 6.oil filter clogged have seviced by yamaha dealer.locate the pink wire at either head temp switch. turn the key on. unplug the pink wire and short the engine harness side to ground. audible should sound at the temp icon flash. no flash check the integrity of the gray wire from the engine 4 pin trim harness to the tach. to test oil system alarm.
