Well you might as well get it while you're fighting Seath. if you don't like it, all you wasted was a bit of time, and possibly a couple of levels if you didn't already have 16 Strength. Offhanding the butterfly horn is really nice. It depends on whatever moveset you prefer. Damage wise MLGS is far superior though. The Moonlight Greatsword and Moonlight Butterfly Horn are a couple of good boss weapons that scale with Int. Like others have said, aside from those you can upgrade any normal weapon down the Magic or Enchanted upgrade paths to make them scale with Int.
