Jul 2, 2021 · If drawn, Pennsylvania residents may purchase an elk license for $25 and $250 for nonresidents. Licenses are on sale now and you can apply for elk through midnight (Eastern Standard Time) on July 31, 2021. Licenses will be drawn on August 21st at the Elk Country Visitor Center in Benezette Township. Apply here. The hunt for the 2024 season will be held Saturday, October 12, 2024 through Friday, October 18, 2024. With the potential of 350"+ bulls, it is hard not to spend the $20 and apply for an elk tag. There will be a total of five tags available in the draw, and an additional tag will be raffled off through a Conservation License Program.Tickets on sale Tuesday, November 7, 2023, through Saturday, January 6, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. (unless sold out sooner).
